She was predeceased by: her parents, William Virgil Hoback and Margaret Wilson Hoback; her brothers, Larry, Mack and Rodney Hoback; her half-sisters, Opal Cornwell and Glenda Ketron; and her parents-in-law, George and Effie Hellas.
She is survived by: her husband Donald "Don" Hellas of North Tazewell, VA; her children, Donald "DJ" Hellas (Tracey) of Bland, VA and Donna Kay Hellas of North Tazewell, VA; her siblings, Bill Hoback (Carolyn) of Cleveland, TN and Carol Collins of Goodview, VA; and her grandchild Devon Hellas.
