He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Horn Matney; his children, Teresa Crockett (Rex) of Bedford, VA and Kelvin Matney (Bonita) of North Tazewell, VA; his siblings, Carol Ann Slone of Statesville, NC, Joan Lambert (Paul) of Radford, VA, Katie Clanton (Johnny) of Statesville, NC, Rex Matney (Carolyn) of Statesville, NC, Richard Matney of Kernersville, NC and Danny Matney (Diane) of Lincolnton, NC; his granddaughter Allyson "Punkin" Crockett of Bedford, VA; and his stepgrandchildren, Crystal of Randy, DJ and Jon. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
