She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D Angles, Sr. and Luvennie Burkett Angles; and her siblings, Robert D. Angles, Jr., Anna Mae Fuller and Cathleen Shrader.

She is survived by: her husband Douglas Monroe Doss; her children, Gala DeFriece of Springville, VA and Timothy Doss (Sandy) of Tazewell, VA; her sisters, Jean Earls (Bill) of Bluefield, VA and Louise Bailey of Springville, VA; her grandchildren, Sean DeFriece (Amanda) of Springville, VA and Amanda Doss of Seattle, WA; her stepgrandchildren, Cody Neel, Cara Neel and Donnie Neel of Wisconsin; her great grandchildren, Andrew DeFriece of Springville, VA and Ariel DeFriece of Pembroke, VA; and her great great grandchild Aubrey Faith DeFriece. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
