He is survived by: his wife Margaret Repass Kulchar of North Tazewell, VA; his children, James Byron Kulchar (Shawnta) of North Tazewell, VA and Mary Dove Kulchar of Charlottesville, VA; and his caregivers, Kim Cleaver, Mary A. Davis and Christina Hankins.
