She was predeceased by: her father George W. Sluss, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Ann Carr Sluss of North Tazewell, VA; her sons, Jordan Howell (Karsyn Lester) of Tazewell, VA and Jamie Howell (Kim Whitt) of Bishop, VA; her brothers, William Scott Sluss (Cindy) of Galax, VA and George W. Sluss III; the father of her children James Edward Howell; her niece Madison Sluss; her nephews, Brandon Sluss (Avery) and Cayson Sluss; and her pet Toby.
