We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2026, at the age of 102, Gloria Ann Brooks (North, Virginia), born in New Iberia, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Col. Matthew L. Brooks Sr.; her daughter Jo Ellen Bergeman; and her grandchildren, Jackie Fox and Joe Fox. She is survived by: her children, Julie Fox, Matt Brooks (Denise), Liz Warden (Roger) and Jamie LaRou (Patrick); her grandchildren, Brian Bergeman, Kim Bergeman Sosa, Jeffrey Brooks, Abby Brooks, Matthew Warden, Gregory Warden, Brooks LaRou and Alex LaRou; and her great grandchild Katelyn Sosa. She is also survived by the children, grandchildren, and extended family who were blessed to call her Mother, Grandmother.
