The memory of James McArthur Holland of North, Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde C. Holland and Martha Eley Smith Holland; and his brothers, Clyde Holland Jr., Charles Holland and Roy Holland.
He is survived by: his wife Judith W. Holland; his children, James Matthew Holland and Jessica Holland Tamba (late Sangbolu "Zekee" Tamba); and his siblings, Evelyn Holland-Walker (Alan), Clara M. Smith, JoAnn Holland, Patricia Holland-Lyons (Carlton), Donald Holland (Analyn), Westley Holland (Dorothy), Hollis Holland and Earl Holland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Meadowbrook High School (4901 Cogbill Rd, North Chesterfield, VA 23234). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Victory Tabernacle Church (11700 Genito Rd, Midlothian, VA 23112). The military honors will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
