It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Smyth of North, Virginia, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas George and Bessie Olivia Smyth; his siblings, Ellen M. Smyth, Robert Thomas Smyth, Thomas Robert Smyth and Warren James Smyth; and his niece Denise Smyth.

He is survived by : his wife Wendy Dee Smyth; his sisters, Cathy L. Smyth and Ellen S. Mitchell (Brian); his nephew Michael J. Smyth (Heather); his nieces, Amanda Mitchell and Candice Baumgartner (Joe); his granddaughters, Victoria Baumgartner and Emma Baumgartner; his mother-in-law Thelma Perin; and his pet Grayson.
