Blackburn of North Chesterfield, VA; his children, Jessica Blackburn (Michael Hathaway) of Henrico, VA and Patrick M. Blackburn of North Chesterfield; his sister Patricia A. Schulze; his brother-in-law David E. Schulze of Morganton, NC; his sisters, Nancy L. Blackburn and Judy B. Shortt of Roanoke, VA; his mother-in-law Lucille A. Soukup; his siblings-in-law, Catherne C. Soukup of Wilmington, DE, Alan D. Soukup of Rockville, MD and Nancy H. Soukup of West Warwick, RI; and his friends, Dennis Strawderman and Lamar Bannister. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.
It was at VCU that Ron met Betty Soukup, a fellow Art Foundation student.
