He is survived by: his son Ryan Cassell (Jessica) of Roanoke, Virginia; his grandchildren, Bailey, Alex, Faith, Collin, Megan, Isaac, Nathan and Jacob; his brothers, Bobby (Mary Ann Cassell), Ollan Castle, Verl Castle (Alex) and Jerl Castle (Glenda); his former wife's sons, Josh (Courtney), Justin and Chad; and his former wife Sheila Cassell.
