She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peringer and Rose St. John Peringer; her daughters, Susan Nelson and Sheryl Nelson; her son-in-law Allen McClellan; and her great grandchild Adalynn Hopkins.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Nelson Roop (Eddie) of Pound, Virginia, Daniel Nelson (Rose) of Wise, Virginia and Lisa Nelson McClellan of Kingsport, Tennessee.; and her grandchildren, Mystie Morris, Justin Roop of Bristol, VA, Nicholas Roop (Kelsey) of Pound, VA, Jeremiah Hopkins (Ann-Delyse) of Fairmont, WV, Matthew Hopkins of Wise, VA, Andrea Hopkins Wolfe (John "JT") of Charlottesville, VA, Michelle Nelson of Wise, VA, Daniel "DJ" Nelson of Wise, VA and Jonathan Nelson (Melanie). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
