She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Evans and Viola Evans (Hensley) of Sandy Ridge; her husband Bobby M. Brooks; her daughters, Barbara Marshall and Angela Shepherd; her grandson Bryon Pfirsch; and her siblings, Caephus, Kenneth, Arlie Evans and Helen Hummel.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Brooks of Norton, VA and Arlie Brooks (Tammy) of Monroeville, OH; and her siblings, Harold Evans (Shelby) of Coeburn, VA and Teresa Evans of Coeburn, VA. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.
