With sadness, we share the passing of Robert E. Lee Marshall of Norton, Virginia. Robert, born on July 31, 1933, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Lillie Belle Marshall (Hurd); his wife Linda; his daughter Connie; his siblings, Delmas Telford, George Donald, Charles Masel, Thomas Aster, Nannie Estella, Alpha Virginia, Eula Catherine, Julius Harvey, Nell Mae, William Kyle, Frank Humphrey, Ruby Arlene, John Maurice, Kenneth and Ralph; and his niece Lila.
He is survived by: his children, Montie Robert Marshall (Kim) and Angela Grace Addington (Charles); his grandson Josh Marshall (Whitney); his great grandchild Carter; his grandson Bryson Marshall; his great grandchildren, Waylon and Holston Marshall; his grandchildren, Katie Jenkins (Dalton) of Norton and Nikitia Gobble (Timothy); his great grandchild Keira Boggs (Declan Horne) of Norton; and his grandson Dustin Addington (Clancy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home (956 Park Ave NW, Norton, VA 24273). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Laurel Grove Cemetery (4805 Kentucky Ave SE, Norton, VA 24273).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Norton Masonic Coporatoin, 9806 Coeburn Mountain Rd., Wise, Virginia, 24293.
