She is survived by: her daughters, Lana Tickles (Randy) of Norton and Jackie Jones (Allen) of Wise; her grandchildren, Darius Jones (Heather) of Wise, Aaron Jones (Madison) of Norton, Kendra Tickles of Norton and Mackie Tickles of Westminster; her great grandchild Chloe Jones; her stepgreat-grandson Austin Miller; her great-nephew Aberem McDavid; and her siblings, Iris Hilton (Larry) of Kingsport, Wanda Bolling (Harold) of Norton, Sue Sexton (Ronnie) of Mechanicsville, Shirl Taylor (Jerry) of Church Hill, Gary McDavid of Norton and John McDavid (Amy) of Chuckey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home (956 Park Ave NW, Norton, VA 24273-1821). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kern Cemetery (487 Cloud High Rd, Duffield, VA 24244).
