With sadness, we share the passing of Nina Thornton of Oak Hall, Virginia. Nina, born on March 28, 1949 in Chincoteague Island, Virginia, passed away on September 30, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Kelso and Ruth Powell. She is survived by: her husband Larry Thornton; her children, Candie O'Donnell, Sherry Sears, John Thornton and Thomas Thornton; her siblings, Lois Trojack and Bruce Kelso; and her grandchildren, Destinee, Joseph, Caydence, Skyler, Colleen and Clara.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (31027 Depot St, New Church, VA 23415).
