Anne Godwin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne Godwin of Onancock, Virginia, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anne Godwin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband David King Godwin; her parents, Evelyn Chesser Byrd and Thomas Milton Byrd; her son Milton "Byrd" Godwin; and her grandson David Reynolds Godwin.
She is survived by: her daughter Anne Godwin Kellam (Anny); her son-in-law John Harris Kellam of Onancock, Virginia; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Grimminger (Greg), Anne Parker Kellam Murphy (Troy) and Meridith Clarke Kellam; and her great grandchildren, Amelia and Hunter Grimminger.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parksley Cemetery (18841 County Rd, Parksley, VA 23421).
