She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Bowdoin Mapp and Lena Custis Mapp; and her husband John "Butch" William Tolbert. She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Noelle Tolbert-Nisbet (John) of Virginia Beach, VA and Rebecca Anne Tolbert of Exmore, VA.; her siblings, James William Mapp (Eva) of Charlottesville, VA, Mason Lang Mapp (Rose) of Wachapreague, VA, Anna Stoft and Richard Mapp; her grandchildren, Abbigail "Abbi" Brook Stevens Jurek (Noah) of Virginia Beach, VA, George "Wil" William Tolbert Stevens of Virginia Beach, VA and John Aidan Tolbert Schleif of Exmore, VA; and her friend Christina Lemieux. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home (94 Market St, Onancock, VA 23417).
