He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl LeeRoy Denny and Willie Mae Branch Denny; and his brother-in-law Randy Mott. He is survived by: his wife Alice Tyree Denny; his children, Jessica Rose "Jessie" Puglisi (Philip) of Suffolk, VA, Nathaniel David "Nate" Denny of Suffolk, VA and Jonathan Andrew "Jon" Denny (Jessie) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Rafael Martinez, Lily Mae and Charlie Denny; and his sisters, Ellen Denny Mott of Richmond, VA and Claire Denny of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made in his memory to Drummondtown Baptist Church, c/o Susan Mears, 25081 Serenity Lane, Onancock, VA 23417.
