She was predeceased by: her parents, Grayson Powell Custis and Ida Milliner Custis; and her brother-in-law Benjamin Hutchinson. She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Pruitt (Steven) of Harrisonburg, VA; her grandsons, Grayson and Aden; her sister Shirley Hutchinson of Onancock; her niece Polly Stern; and her great-nephews, Parker and Walker.
