She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Johnson, Sr. and Elizabeth Johnson; and her husband Jesse Carden, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Carden, Cheryl Skinner, Jesse Carden, Kenneth Carden, Charles Carden, Dennis Carden and Lindsay Carden; and her siblings, Jack Johnson, Jr., Walter Johnson, Harold Johnson, Everette Johnson and Velma Washington. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
