She was predeceased by: her husband Graham Barton Sr.; her daughters, Sarah Christine and Katherine Yvonne Barton; and her close friend Anne Meade Faulconer. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Graham Barton, Jr. of Orange, VA, Mary Brewer of Honaker, VA, Rita Wood of Mt Carmel, IL and Karen Barton of Lawton, OK; and her grandchildren, Austin, Shane, Valerie, Marie, Meagan, Samantha and Sara.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Home (250 W Main St, Orange, VA 22960). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church (119 Caroline St, Orange, VA 22960).
