He is survived by: his daughter Marla Lynn Compton; and his siblings, Shirley Gooding of Aroda, Eunice Chisholm of Charlottesville, Harry L. Compton of Orange, Troy Douglas Compton of Montford and Dellis P. Compton of Orange. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
