A.; his children, Peggy Helmick (Dean) of Orange, V. A. and Joshua Helmick (Christine) of Greene, V. A.; his adoptive daughter Penny Bishop of Palmyra, V. A; his grandchildren, Heather Sherman (Jason) of Culpeper, V. A., Caitlin Carney (Dakota) of Woodstock, V. A., Sierra Hamm (Timmy) of Madison, V. A., Jesse Helmick of Madison, V. A. and Victoria Helmick of Madison, V. A.; and his nieces, Becki Creel Reid (Joe) of Omaha, N. E. and Lisa Yates (Pete) of Omaha, N. E.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the County of Orange Fire and EMS.
