He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Edmonds, Sr. (Big Jim) and Evelyn T. Edmonds (Gaboo Eve); and his daughter Jennifer Lea Edmonds. He is survived by: his spouse Jackie Edmonds; his son James T. Edmonds, III (Linda); his brothers, Robin Edmonds (Sandrita) and Chris Edmonds; his stepsons, Gordon W. Atkins (Kathy) and Jerald W. Atkins (Erin); his grandchildren, Urijah Edmonds, Ryder Edmonds, Jordan Foltz, Jacob Atkins, Lindsay Atkins, Tyler Atkins and Weston Atkins; and his sister-in-law Carey Holman (Bill).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Pamunkey Baptist Church (15110 Pamunkey Ln, Orange, VA 22960).
Remembrances in his honor may be made to North Pamunkey Baptist Church Building Fund.
