She is survived by: her sister Juanita M. "Honey" Martin; and her children, John L. Maxwell (Joanna), Brian K. Maxwell (Lori), Mary C. L. "Dolly" Rood, Lenoira E. J. M. Cooper (Jeffrey), Joseph P. Maxwell (Emily) and Jason S. Maxwell (Michelle). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
