We announce the death of Matilda Lam Corbin of Orange, Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 92. Matilda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Matilda’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry E. Lam and Myrtle Rogers Lam; her husband James Corbin; and her siblings, Lorene Lam, Irene Lam Rogers, Dewey and Asberry Lam.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (10115 Spotswood Trail, Gordonsville, VA 22942).
