She was predeceased by: her parents, William Daniel Yancey and Ruth Genevieve Foster; her children, Brenda Garrett Stankewicz and Ronald Garrett; and her siblings, Paul Yancey, Stuart Yancey, Sam Yancey, James Yancey, Henry Yancey, Frances Eisenhower, Hazel Moon, Mary Pearson, Eva Lee and Shirley Hanvey.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Garrett; her sons, Robert Garrett (Bonnie), Randall Garrett (Robin), Gary Crumpler (Vickie) and John Stankewicz; her grandchildren, Kristin Wentland (Matthew), Lauren Murchison (Tyler) and Ryan Garrett; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Thacker, Chelsea Thacker, Olivia Wentland, Rowan Murchison and Owen Wentland.
