We announce the death of Russell Edward Nash Jr. (Orange, Virginia), who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 97. Russell will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Edward Nash, Sr. and Mary Carpenter Nash; his wife Barbara Deane Nash; his sister Anne Nash Faulconer; and his nieces, Jeanne Faulconer Courtney and Diane Lynn Faulconer.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Nash (Pam) of Madison and Carole Nash (John Eckman) of Harrisonburg; his stepchildren, Janice Hoffman of Orange and Donald Deane (Brenda) of Ruckersville; and his grandchildren, Stephen Nash (Rachael), Candia Morris (Spencer) and Hubert Bare (Crystal).
