He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Martin Bailey "Bae Bae"; his sons, Hassan Bailey (Shawna), Shawn T. Bailey (Kristie) of Charlottesville, VA, Charles Linwood Bailey, Jr. (Sonnika) of Fluvanna, VA and Sylvester Anderson of Fredericksburg, VA; his siblings-in-law, Anthony and Linda (NJ); and his stepfather George Dickey of Richmond, VA.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
