She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Marie and Erwin Ralph Mertz; her husband Edward "Penny" Holsapple; her children, Darlene Annette Holsapple and Edward Franklin Holsapple Jr.; her siblings, Alice Marie Mertz-McClelland, Myrtle Stone, Halle Harold, Andrew "Andra" Willoughby, Arthur Willoughby and Austin Willoughby; and her grandson Shawn Michael Forbes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melisa Lynn Reese and Monica Star Forbes (Dennis Forbes); her nephew Ralph Garrison; her grandchildren, Heather Reese, Shannon Reese, Ashley Reese, Kristen Reese, Shane Forbes and Alicia Forbes; and her great grandchildren, Gauge Jenkins, Heath Schwab, Jordan Richards, Karter Gaines, Kaylynn Shifflett, Kole Shifflett, Kameron Shifflett, Reagan Reese-Carver, Kali Reese-Carver, Austin Reese-Carver, Michael Reese-Carver, Ty Herring, Trevor Herring, Madalynn Forbes and Baylie Forbes.
