She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Foster Godsey of Cumberland and Leah Placida Arnold of Baltimore Maryland; and her siblings, Keith Foster Godsey, Jr., Vernon Edward "Arnold" Godsey, John "Jack" Andrew Godsey, Richard "Dick" Lee Godsey, Mary Lee Godsey (McGinley), Katherine "Kitt" Winn Godsey (O'Brien) and Margery "Margie" Ann Godsey (Grubb). She is also survived by children.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church (4309 Thomas Jefferson Pkwy, Palmyra, VA 22963). A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Center Presbyterian Church (1542 Anderson Hwy, Cumberland, VA 23040).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to give a donation in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.
