He was predeceased by : his parents, George Lee and Mittie Pearl McAllister; and his siblings, Herbert, Patrick and Mary Lee McAllister.
He is survived by : his wife Phyllis; his sister Joyce Hatchett of Crozet; his children, Sid McAllister (Becky) of Charlottesville, Virginia, Fawnda Batchelor (James) and Mike Davis (Kathy McCutcheon) of Buckingham, Virginia; and his sisters-in-law, Connie Painter, Lindsay Kidd and Terry Herndon. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
