She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Tharp and Lucinda Tharp (Combs); her husband Herbert Paul Hoover; and her siblings, Everette, Jr., Jerry, Joseph Thorpe, Charlene Combs and Freda Cornett.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Greenwood of Palmyra, Brenda Gail Hoover (Don Arnold) of Palmyra and Allen Hoover (Canh) of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Brandon Matthew Greenwood (Elizabeth), Dustin Paul Greenwood (Stephanie), Melina Hoover (JP) and Zinnia Hope Hoover; her great grandchildren, Oakley Matthew, Mitchell Greenwood, Raelynn, Laila and Maya Greenwood; and her sisters, Emma Jean Tyreman and Sheila Ann Welsh. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
