It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Augusta Mae Davis of Pamplin, Virginia, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Deacon Ike and Lillie Davis; her husband Hanable Broadwater "Robert"; her children, Robert Lewis Broadwater and Cynthia Marie Broadwater Hall; and her siblings, Winston, Jimmy, Frank, Burrell Lee, Ronald, Cal Davis, Alice Payne, Margaret Broadwater and Julia Ann Davis.
She is survived by: her children, William Davis (Adream) of Appomattox, Gregory Broadwater (Catherine) of Lynchburg, Tyrone Broadwater (Theresa) of Lynchburg, Lershunder Broadwater of Pamplin and Angela Broadwater of Pamplin; and her sisters-in-law, Jenny Davis of Queens, NY, Mae Harmon of Clarks Hill and Anne Griffin of Augusta, GA. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
