He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Annie Baldwin Hodges; his parents, Thomas Jefferson Hodges and Ruby Mae Hodges; his siblings, William T. "Billy" Hodges, Elizabeth R. "Liz" Mobley and Shirley Garrett; and his brothers-in-law, David Phillips and Curtis Morris.
He is survived by : his children, Lester Hodges (Stephanie) of Appomattox and Donna Joy (Barry) of Appomattox; his grandchildren, Brittany Barney (Brandon), Lauren Brown (Justin), Monica Bennett (Dalton) and Derick Hodges (Erin); his great grandchildren, Taegan, Silas Barney, Harper, Graham Brown, Kennedy and Hadley Bennett; his sisters, Carrie Morris of Richmond and Ann Phillips of Pamplin; and his siblings-in-law, David Garrett and Betty Hodges.
