He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Rosser Covington and Robert "Bob" Walker Covington, Sr.; and his brother R. Walker Covington Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Georgianna "Ann" Shorter Covington; his children, Stephanie C. Hodges (Lester) and Charles "Charlie" H. Covington; his sister Estelle C. Woosley (Dave); his sister-in-law Margie C. Covington; his grandchildren, Monica H. Bennett (Dalton) and Derick Hodges (Erin); his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Hadley and Colyer Bennett; and his niece Sharon K. Hix.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Swan Family Cemetery (3539 Swan Rd, Pamplin, VA 23958).
