He is survived by: his daughter Pat Smith (John Odell) of Lynchburg; his daughter-in-law Margaret Davis of Pamplin; his grandchildren, Shannon Martin (Kenneth), Jamie C. Davis (Heather), Daniel A. Davis (Amy) and Matthew J. Smith; his great grandchildren, Kurt Grayson Martin (Taylor), Katy Martin, Maddox Davis, Colbie Davis, Camden Davis and Macy Davis; his brother Ronnie V. Hamlett; and his close friend Marie Powell.
