He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Davis (Zangerle); his close friend Brian Bennett; his children, Andrea Nicole Muhly of Rochester, NY, Peter Ernest Muhly of Oldsmar, FL and Alexandra Muhly of Williamsburg, VA; his children-in-law, Barbara Muhly of Oldsmar, FL, Timothy Santmyer of Mobile, AL, Timothy Williams of Rochester, NY and Jonathan Grimes of Williamsburg, VA; his grandchildren, Jessica Gauldin of Rochester, NY, René Grimes of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Rowan Muhly and S. Air Force; his great grandchild Cassandra Gauldin of Rochester, NY; and his brother Ernest Jan Paul Muhly of Frederick, MD..
