He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Thornes and Juanita Annis Thornes; his siblings, Johnny Thornes Sr. (Toni), Woodrow "Woody" Thornes and Janet Hoover (Bruce); his grandchildren, Travis Thornes, Olivia Thornes, Taylor Thornes, Jacob Thornes and Hannah Byrd; his siblings, Scarlett Thornes, Caitlyn Amadeo, Jordan Amadeo (Sarah), Rhiannon Amadeo and Paige Treadwell (Brennan); his great grandchildren, Marleigh, Lily Justis, Kristopher, Matthew, Emerson, Teagan Treadwell and Jordan Robert Amadeo Jr.; his wife Vickie Scott Thornes of Deep Creek; and his brother Cecil Thornes.
