He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Hill and Flora Elizabeth Lyon Hill; his son Daniel Joseph Hill (Debbra); and his grandson William. He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine Hickerson Hill; his children, William and Jeanne Marie Campbell (Hill); his grandchildren, Allison Noel Campbell (Travis), Kayleigh Noel Swinehart (William), R. Hill III, Kenny Campbell (Mary) and Jonathan Campbell (Eva); and his great grandchildren, Kevin, Ripleigh and Raegan Swinehart.
