She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Edward Owens and Almedia Bishop Owens; her husband Roy Jacob Rodgers; her children, William Rodgers, Ginger Bryant and Kenneth Rodgers; her stepmother Nettie Owens; and her siblings, Carlynn Owens, Roger Owens, Roy Lester, Alvin Owens, Mabel Roberts and Bonnie Bowles.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Branch of Patrick Springs; her daughter-in-law Joyce Rodgers of Stuart; and her sisters, Dora Dillon of Spencer and Sylvia Rutherford of Aberdeen, Maryland. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
