Fay H. Metzgar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fay H. Metzgar of Patrick Springs, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Fay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Fay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sopko and Catherine Sopko (Massar); her husband Patrick A. Metzgar; and her son Steven A. Rinker. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas A. Rinker (Rosemary) and Robert M. Rinker; her grandchildren, Robert J. Rinker, Nicole Cadmus and Shannyn Rinker-Damasco; her brother Joseph Sopko (Mary); and her niece Melissa Sopko.
