He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Goard Griffin; his son James "Jamie" Griffin (Vicky) of Fresno, California; his grandson Andrew "Griff" Griffin of Fresno, California; and his siblings, Judy Stanley of Madison and Tony Griffin of Greensboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
