He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Swanson Joyce Sr. and Iva June Fain Joyce. He is survived by: his wife Judy Adams Joyce; his sons, Todd (Dana Joyce) and Brian (Stacy Joyce); his grandchildren, Wesley, Heather Joyce, Dr. Amanda Joyce, Daniel Harless, Caleb Joyce and Ethan Joyce; his great grandchildren, Ansel Joyce and Robin Joyce; and his siblings, Raymond (Peggy Joyce) and Debbie (Mike Bryant). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church (4432 Pleasant View Dr, Patrick Springs, VA 24133). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at the same location.
