She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Handy and Maudie Rakes Handy; and her brother Bill Handy. She is survived by : her husband Carson Martin; her son Roger Martin of Walnut Cove, NC; her grandsons, Austin Martin (Sarah), Parker Martin and Tyler Hazelwood; her great grandchildren, Aina Martin and Rena Martin; and her siblings, Betty Townes of Richmond and Wayne Handy of Patrick Springs. She is also survived by her grandchildren and taking care of her family and friends.
