He is survived by : his wife Barbara Clark Rakes; his daughters, Angie R. (Jason Brown) and Lisa R. (Eric Sheppard); his grandchildren, Jonathan Woods, Meredith Law, Lauren Brown and Jared Brown; his brother Bobby; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Rakes of Powhatan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
