He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Beverly Ann Louis Morris; his parents, Lacy Morris and Kathleen Stevers Morris; and his stepfather Lewis Whittaker. He was also cherished by ses six children and their spouses, who blessed them with 16 grandchildren and their spouses, and the joy of 30 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
