He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bryan Strader, Sr. (Cindy) and Grace Mae Swindell Strader; his wife Elizabeth Anne Jones Strader; and his sisters, Barbara S. Nichols and Sarah S. Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Parker Strader of Pearisburg and Frank Bryan Strader, III of Pearisburg; and his nieces and nephews, Susan Norris (Bobby) of Culpeper, Mary Schelin of Stafford, Sid Howard (Betsy) of Fayetteville, WV, Jim Anders (Kemp) of Fairfax, Bill Anders (Lori) of Nashville, NC, Ted Anders (Donna) of Catlett, Lynn Briel of Williamsburg, Gary Jones (Tammy) of Warner Robins, GA and Harold Jones, Jr. (Bea) of Poinciana, FL..
