He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Jemison (Damien), Krista Hale (Jake Fox) and Kayleigh Hale (Jim Adams); his close friend Bonnie McCoy; his grandchildren, Laylah Jayde Buckland, Chloey, Courtlyn, Carlie and Michael Jemison; his siblings, John Hale (Peggy), Sherman Hale, Margaret Hale Proco (Darrell), Robert Hale Jr. (Shirley) and Margie Dowdy (Charles Kellison); his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Hale and Tommy Moye; his niece Karen Melissa Hale; his great-niece Lindsey Marie Seymour; his great-nephew Dustin Wayne Dowdy; Steven Seymour. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
