As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jay may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rainey and Margaret Rainey; and his son Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Katherine (Tina); his children, Benjamin (Kristen) and Becca (Colin); and his siblings, Kirk (Christy), Lee (Kathy) and Amanda (Bud). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jay's honor are welcome at any animal shelter that cares for creatures in need.
